Every month, Indie+ tries to get in an Exhibition Game, in which members of the Indie+ team and sometimes guests come on and play an RPG with its designer for 2 hours. The games are as much about demonstrating the game and its rules as they are about being a tutorial, and seeing the game run by the person who made it in the first place. We’ve done a bunch of these exhibition games now, and we’re still pushing forward with new games every month.

If you want to see the full list of Exhibition Games we’ve done so far, check out our Youtube playlist. Here are a few to take a close look at:

Urban Shadows

Atomic Robo

Inspectres (which we didn’t play with the designer, but only because this was our holiday special)

What happens when you take story gamers and put them in an OSR dungeon?

And if a 2-hour exhibition game is a bit too much, check out these "Too long; didn't watch" videos, where we go over our exhibition games in (approximately) five minutes.

After every Exhibition Game, we also film a super short video — our “Too Long; Didn’t Watch” video, or tl;dw, for short. Each tl;dw is a brief discussion by the players — and the players alone — of the game, including:

(1) The best moment during actual play

(2) What you should know before you pick it up

(3) The main reason to pick it up
